The initial PiLog Data Quality Solutions have expanded to enable customers to effectively manage the take-on of supplier data during mergers, new acquisitions or plant extensions. The age old problem of over stocking, proper identification and duplication of spare parts during new acquisitions, and the resulting maintenance delays/downtime, is minimised by the implementation of tailor made PiLog solutions. Such implementations have resulted in massive savings with some of PiLog’s customers during plant expansions as well as effective procurement and receipt of acquisition spares.
