Once PiLog has cleaned out the static portion of the Material Master, it offers as a secondary service, the option to assist clients with warehouse optimization.  This typically includes the following:

 

·         Bar coding.  (Typically Code 3 of 9 or code 128).

·         ABC analysis to determine:

o   High value items representing only a small number of stock items (A).

o   Intermediate value items representing a larger number of stock items (B).

o   Low investment items representing a considerable number of stock items (C).

·         Identification of slow moving or non moving items.

·         Identification of fast moving items.

·         Identification of valuable and attractive items.

·         Setting up of key performance indicators.

·         Management reporting.

·         Stock verification.
