PiLog provides a range of data products to facilitate the process for accurate data searches, profiling, cleaning and maintenance as well as management.

Abbreviations

The limitations of ERP short descriptions sometimes require the introduction of abbreviations to enable the capture of all mandatory information in order for these short descriptions to make sense. PiLog has developed a list of over 25 000 abbreviations which can be utilized for this purpose. The list adheres to international standards.

Unit of Measure (UOM)

A standard list of UOMs that is utilized by the PiLog content refinery on a daily basis, is available to customers for implementation in their ERP or content solutions.

Standard Values

PiLog has created a list of standard values over the years as part of its value standardization practice. This provides the customer the opportunity to implement such values to prevent the contamination of their current catalogue by inputting non-standard values.

Synonyms

Synonyms can play a vital role in the creation of a materials or services catalogue. This provides the opportunity for end users to search synonyms without knowing the correct cataloguing term. PiLog has developed such lists for each of the countries in which it operates.
