PiLog MDL (Mass Data Loader)

The Content Gateway is designed to host all semi and unstructured data and manage it through the various processes from item identification up to final acceptance and publishing it to the PiLog Catalogue Management system for use by end users, buyers and cataloguers.

The Mass Data Manager module is the software through which bulk data can be received from external sources such as suppliers, content refineries and plant expansion projects into Content Gateway.

• Through the Bulk upload tool, bulk uploads of the data can be done via pre-formatted templates per commodity.
• Up-Load of Supplier catalogues via a pre-formatted file format.
• The system will automatically upload items that do not exist or update existing items that do exist from the Excel file – ease of use for the Administrator.
• Different file formats are available i.e. text files, Excel or XML.
• Price updates can be done via pre-formatted Excel spreadsheets.
• Data-mapper to map source and destination table and columns for the data to be imported or exported.
